Eriberto is going to graduate for the Denver School of Science and Technology and needed to get his Senior Portraits done. We decided to take him to Downtown Denver around Union Station to take his pictures. We took these in October 2014…and it was cold!
We were all bundled up and Eriberto only had his dress coat on the whole time. He was a trooper though and we got some great pictures by getting up in the early morning chill to go downtown. Good luck at your last year of high school!
I am a little late on posting this since we are now in February, but I guess better late than never. Every year I feel like we improve our photography in both personal and professional shooting. This is a good way to show some of our favorite work from the previous year so it is in one easy to digest blog post. It gives us something that we can easily look back on to remember the year that was and the progress we are making on a yearly basis. I hope you enjoy the pictures in this post as much as we do. Many of the pictures have been in previous blog posts or elsewhere on our website but it is nice to see them all here as we update the pictures on the website fairly often and they may be taken off.
We had the pleasure of spending the afternoon taking pictures of Christine at numerous parks in Aurora, Colorado a couple of weeks ago for her senior pictures. We love so many of the pictures that we captured during the session. Christine was very photogenic and made the afternoon of picture taking very easy.
We got into the rhythm right when we started. These were some of our first photos by a little pond in Olympic park.
The blue water in the next picture made the perfect background for this shot.
The picture above was taken very close to the road. It turned out great with a little creative positioning. Sorry to make you have to stand in the grass and deal with the bugs flying around. In the end we think it was worth it
We stumbled upon a baseball dugout while looking for the next location. I think we are all happy we took the time to take some pictures in there. The next two are some of our favorite pictures we have taken so far in all of our shoots – and will be added to some of the galleries on our site :).
The next one ended up being the top choice among us all for her senior yearbook picture.
We ended the session at sunset just trying some interesting shots. The next one stands out because of the cracks in the ground and the beautiful sunset lighting.
The last set of pictures we took were by some big power lines. Here is our favorite from that sequence of shots.
Hope you enjoy your senior year at Cherokee Trail High School. Also, good luck with all those AP classes you are taking!
